Vermiculus Conference 2026

The annual Vermiculus Conference marked its seventh year of bringing colleagues together to exchange perspectives on the future of financial market infrastructure.

This year's Vermiculus Conference, Vermiculus days, took place at Sånga Hotell & Konferens, bringing colleagues together for two days of great discussions and interesting perspectives.

The agenda covered a wide range of topics, from market trends and technology innovation to AI, the future of market infrastructure, and the forces shaping our industry.

A key part of the conference was the opportunity to share knowledge and perspectives across the company, with internal speakers offering valuable insights into technology, product development, and initiatives across different areas of the business.

We were also pleased to welcome guest speakers who brought external perspectives to the conference. Patrick L. Young from Exchange Invest, Erik Einerth from Svensk Värdepappersmarknad (The Swedish Securities Markets Association), and Pedro Meduna from L4 Venture Builder shared their views on industry developments and contributed to engaging discussions on the evolution of financial markets, increasing market fragmentation, the growing importance of liquidity, and the critical role of clearing and settlement as the foundation of modern market infrastructure.

As always, one of the highlights of Vermiculus Days was the opportunity to connect with colleagues from across the company. Bringing together colleagues from different teams and locations continues to be one of the most valuable aspects of the event.
